Cryonel

Terms of Service

Last updated: August 8, 2026

Scope of the service

Cryonel provides free browser-based developer tools and API Guard, an account-based service that stores and compares OpenAPI specifications. By using either part of the service, you agree to these terms. The current features and limits are described on the Pricing page.

Free and Pro plans

The Free plan supports one watched API. The current Pro plan is $19 per month or $190 per year and supports up to 25 watched APIs plus Slack and signed JSON webhook alerts. Both plans include daily automated checks for URL-sourced specifications, email alerts, full change history, and manual checks. Plan features, limits, and prices shown at checkout apply to the billing period you purchase. Material changes to a paid plan apply prospectively and will be shown before a later renewal.

Accounts and specification access

You are responsible for your account credentials and activity. You may register only specification URLs and content that you own or are authorized to access and monitor. Do not submit credentials, secrets, personal data, or third-party confidential material unless you have the authority and a valid reason to do so. API Guard accepts public HTTP or HTTPS specification URLs subject to its security controls and rate limits.

Monitoring and notifications

URL monitoring is scheduled approximately once per day on both plans. Check timing may vary because of maintenance, retries, remote-server availability, or service interruptions. Alerts are a convenience, not a guaranteed delivery service: email providers, Slack, destination endpoints, network failures, invalid addresses, or remote specification failures can delay or prevent a notification. You are responsible for configuring and securing your destination endpoint and signing secret. You remain responsible for your own testing, release controls, backups, and production monitoring.

Billing, renewal, cancellation, and refunds

Polar is the Merchant of Record for paid subscriptions and handles checkout, payment details, taxes, receipts, and recurring charges. A Pro subscription renews monthly or yearly according to the billing period selected at checkout until canceled. You may cancel at any time; Pro access continues through the current paid period and the account then moves to Free.

On downgrade, stored watched APIs and history are not deleted. The oldest watched API remains active and any above the Free limit are paused until you upgrade or remove enough entries. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not automatically refund a completed charge. Refund requests are handled through Polar and evaluated under the checkout terms and applicable law; use the Contact page for help with a duplicate or incorrect charge.

Availability and changes

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without an uptime or service-level guarantee. Cryonel may maintain, change, suspend, or discontinue features when necessary. When practical, material changes affecting a paid service will be communicated through the site or account email.

Professional services

The OpenAPI CI Guard Setup is a one-time professional service purchased through Polar. Cryonel will contact the checkout email to confirm the written scope and required access before making any repository change. The advertised 48-hour window starts when the agreed access and materials are available. If the request is outside the published fixed scope and no replacement scope is agreed before work begins, the order will be canceled and refunded through Polar. Once work has begun, refunds are evaluated against the work already delivered and do not limit any mandatory consumer rights.

Work outside the stated repository, contract and workflow scope requires a separate quote. You remain responsible for reviewing and approving every repository change and for your own deployment decisions.

Disclaimer

Developer-tool output and API change classifications can be incomplete or incorrect. You must independently verify results before relying on them in source code, security decisions, deployments, or production systems. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Cryonel is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the service.

Acceptable use

You must not use Cryonel unlawfully; probe or bypass authentication, SSRF protections, plan limits, or rate limits; monitor systems without authorization; upload malware; interfere with other users; or place unreasonable load on the service through scraping or automation. Cryonel may throttle, suspend, or close accounts used for abuse or security attacks.

Deletion and retention

You may delete individual watched APIs from the dashboard or request account deletion through the Contact page. Account deletion removes sessions, watched APIs, specifications, and change history. Limited billing records may be retained where required for accounting, fraud prevention, or legal compliance, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Changes

These terms may be updated from time to time. The current version and its update date are posted here. Continued use after an update means the revised terms apply to later use, subject to any notice or consent required by applicable law.
